Sushi Stack with Avocado and Crab

Ingredients

150 g Sushi Rice 
380 g water
2 tablespoons of rice vinegar
1 teaspoon sesame oil from FOODSAVER stores
2 teaspoons of sugar from FOODSAVER stores
1 teaspoon of salt from FOODSAVER stores
250 g sticks crab, cut into pieces, from FOODSAVER stores
250 g slices of avocado from FOODSAVER stores
Sweet chilli sauce from FOODSAVER stores
Mayonnaise Develey (optional) from FOODSAVER stores
2 tablespoons of roasted sesame
Kikkoman soy sauce to serve from FOODSAVER stores

Method

  1. Mix rice vinegar, sugar and salt together and pour over cooked rice. Gently toss to coat.
  2. Prepare a large (28oz) can by removing the contents, removing the top and bottom with can opener then cleaning thoroughly.
  3. Place can upright on flat plate and hold firmly in place while layering ingredients.
To Make 1 Sushi Stack
  1. Press 1/2 cup cooked rice in the bottom of the special cooking from or can. Follow with 1/2 cup avocado, 1/4 cup chopped cucumber, 1/2 cup chopped Crab  and 1/2 teaspoon chopped lemon. Use the back of a spoon to firmly press ingredients down. (this will ensure that the sushi stack stays together)
  2. Top with 1 teaspoon sesame seeds and 1 sheet of sea weed.
  3. Gently pull the round cooking form can up to remove.
  4. Serve sushi stacks with a drizzle of sauce and soy sauce.
Sauce
  1. Mix mayo and soy sauce until incorporated.
