In a medium sized bowl, hand whisk the egg yolks with the sugar for about 3 to 5 minutes until smooth and creamy. In another bowl, mix together all the dry ingredients. Alternate adding a third of the dry ingredients and then half of the milk, starting and ending with the flour mixture. In another bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff white peaks form. Using a spatula, fold the egg whites carefully into the batter mixture. Follow your waffle machine’s instruction in order to bake the waffles. To make the strawberry sauce, place all the ingredients in a small pot on hot stove and bring the ingredients to a boil. Simmer and stir the occasionally stir the sauce for 5 minutes and remove.
